RAGBRAI 2010
Road extended tour / Saturday, July 24 through Friday, July 30, 2010
The 38th edition of the Register’s Annual Great Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) is coming July 25 through 31, 2010. As usual the Touring Cyclist is taking a group from St. Louis to do the ride, and we invite you to join us.
More information about this tour will be available through the fall and winter after the RAGBRAI organization announces the route and registration details.
RAGBRAI is a great experience, and we add nice touches to make it even better. Join up with our group and receive the following:
- Motor coach ride from St. Louis (Bridgeton) Missouri to the start of the ride on July 24, and from the finish back to St. Louis on July 31.
- Transportation of your luggage and bicycle to and from Iowa.
- Daily transportation of your luggage on our vehicle, avoiding the long RAGBRAI luggage lines.
- Prime camping spots reserved by Touring Cyclist staff each day.
- Touring Cyclist mechanic available each night.
- Sun shower bag (provided by you) made ready by our staff during the day, ready to go when you arrive at the end of each ride.
The fee for this tour is to be determined, and will be set after we know the official route and can determine the cost for coach transportation to and from the ride. The price will cover all the amenities listed above, plus the fee charged by the Des Moines Register to participate in RAGBRAI. We anticipate a price of $550 to $600 per person.
