Banjo Brothers Model 01040 racktop bag

The Banjo Brothers 01040 (Expanding) racktop bag is a big step up from their standard racktop bag. The main compartment is the same size and has the same insulating, protective foam liner. Added to this are two outside pockets and an expanding sleeve on the main compartment.

The two outside pockets add almost 250 cubic inches to the main compartment, for a total capacity of 750 cubic inches in the bag’s basic configuration. But unzip the expansion sleeve and the main compartment almost doubles in volume, for a total carrying capacity of 925 cubic inches. This is definitely a versatile bag.

The Expanding racktop bag fits virtually all rear bike racks, and attaches using two webbing straps held tight with velcro. It is constructed of ripstop and ballistic nylon for durability. The decorative trim is reflective and wraps completely around the bag, to enhance nighttime visibility. The main compartment has a plastic key clip, and the bag comes with a detachable shoulder strap for carrying off the bike.
