Sakaroo 2007 Big rear panniers

The Big Sakaroo panniers are basic, but quite well made, panniers for the rear of your bike. They are made in Canada by Arkel, one of the best bike bag manufacturers in the world. While these bags don’t have all the features of Arkel’s main pannier line, they still embody that company’s devotion to high construction quality and first class materials, so these Sakaroos will last a good long time.

These panniers feature:

• 40 liters total capacity per pair
• both top-load and front load access to the main compartment
• variable volume through an expanding section at the top of each main compartment
• vertical compression straps to keep the load stable
• top pocket
• two side pockets plus one mesh pocket
• reflective tape

These panniers use a basic hook attachment system, not the elaborate design used on other Arkel panniers.
